There is something that fascinates me about old falling dilapidated barns and buildings in rural Saskatchewan. The stories of the people that used to live and work in these places interests me. Recently we visited the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon. They have a display there called, "Saskatchewan: Winning the Prairie Gamble" that tells the story of a family that settled on the Saskatchewan prairie. If you get a chance go and check it out, it is worth the visit.
